The Peace and Love Orphanage has a school and medical clinic located on its grounds. Placement opportunities include teaching, acting as support staff in the orphanage, as well as counseling and assistance in the on-site medical clinic.

Depending on their placement, volunteers can expect to organize or participate in a variety of duties that range from teaching in the classroom, storybook reading, playing sports, making crafts, or counseling women and children about health education, hygiene and administering basic first-aid.

Volunteers who are interested in administrative positions are also welcome. Their primary duties would revolve around the regulation of children’s day and night schedules.

Accommodations:
The orphanage is located in the city of Accra. Accommodation is offered on-site. There is running water and electricity and volunteers will be able to access much of what they need with relative ease.
