OCA also seeks to provide prenatal care and education to young mothers living in rural and urban areas. Currently, the organization is sponsoring a young woman living in Accra who lost her vision during the course of her pregnancy. Her husband abandoned her soon after and OCA has been providing her with funds and a network with which to ensure medical check-ups and support so that she may be able to raise her child and cope with visual impairment.
