P&E Textiles aims to provide impoverished women with employment and vocational training as seamstresses. Local seamstresses have been employed to make clothing in Medina, a town outside of Accra. The clothes are then sold in Canada at fair trade prices. 100% of the proceeds from the sales are then used to provide salaries and to expand the cottage industry by training and employing additional women.
